To place a hold on a book that is currently checked out, start by clicking on the FIND FULL TEXT link. .

On the next screen, click on the Request this Item through Library Express link to use the Library Express service to place the book on hold.

If you haven't already logged in, you will be prompted to log in using your EKU username and password.

Be sure to select the best pick up location for you.

  • Richmond campus students have a variety of pick up locations across campus! Tip! Mail and room delivery is not available to Richmond campus students.
  • Richmond campus faculty and staff can choose a campus pick up location or have physical items delivered to their campus mailing address.
  • Regional campus and online students, faculty and staff will have physical books mailed to their home address. Tip! Double-check your Library Express account to make sure your address is correct.

Take a moment to check the Not Wanted After Date and update if needed.
