Finding books written by a specific author in the library search can be a little tricker than it should be. We recommend starting by selecting the Advanced Search option on the homepage.

Then be sure to log into your EBSCOHost account to guarantee to you are viewing complete collection results.

Then choose Author from the Select a Field menu options.

EDS Library Search with "Author" selected in the "Select a Field" pull down menu

Enter the author's name into the search box. But be careful how you enter it! For best results, enter the author's name "last name, first name." Example:  "angelou, maya"

Library search with author name entered "house, silas" and Select a Field set to "Author"

Then we recommend limiting your search to Catalog Only. Use the limiter on the left side of the search results page. This will limit your search results to only books and should remove articles from your search results.
