- downloading a PDF article
- using the email functions to e-mail an article and its citation to yourself
- using the Cite feature, with caution
Warning: Be careful using the citation machine available on the OWL at Purdue. When inputting a URL for an article, sometimes the output recommended citation is incorrect, including strange, incorrect text "Shibboleth Authentication Request." Use citation generators with extreme caution, and always check against your citation manual or other trusted sources.
