Viewing DVDs on any Dell computers in the Main Library is a little trickier than it should be. Below are the steps to view a DVD on one of these machines:.
(If the desktop/laptop doesn't have a DVD drive you will need to check one out at the Main Access Services Desk)
- Insert DVD into the DVD drive in computer. (If using a Portable DVD drive, attach to to your laptop first then insert the DVD.)
- Click on the windows start icon.
- Select This PC
- Double click on the DVD icon
- Right click on the DVD icon and select "Play with VLC player." Should have a traffic cone icon.
- The DVD should play!
