NFPA does offer free access to these codes at the following URL that *might* work in a pinch (as in, the assignment is due tomorrow) if/when there's an issue with our subscription.

https://www.nfpa.org/Codes-and-Standards/All-Codes-and-Standards/Free-access

It does require creation of a personal account on nfpa.org, and selecting “free access” within the record page for the relevant code.  The free access versions are limited to viewing online. In addition, free access only offers viewing of the current version of a code; our subscription access offers both the current as well as older editions. You will not be able to search within the codes through the free version like you can with the subscription.

Not ideal, but better than nothing!  We are working with NFPA to get our access restored.
