We recommend using WorldCat Discovery to search for Music resources.

  1. From the library homepage, scroll to the bottom and click WorldCat Discovery under Research Resources
  2. Once on the WorldCat Discovery landing page, click on Advanced Search
  3. Enter your search terms, and be sure to change each search box to Keyword.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the search page, and select Libraries Worldwide under Held by Library. Now click Search at the bottom right of the page.
  5. Once the results screen loads, locate Formats on the left. Limit your results to the format(s) you need, such as Music Recording, Musical Score, Video, etc. You may select multiple options.

Tip! Some music items are not available on the shelves but, instead, are kept in a closed collection. When you search the library's catalog, and the Location of the items you want reads something like Main Library Storage, please use the Request It link.
