Access Options

When you are searching in our databases, look for and click on the PDF Full Text or Online Full Text links to access and read the full text of articles. These links are usually found below the item record in the search results list, or in the top or side tool bars of the article details page.

Find Full Text

In some cases EKU Libraries may not have immediate access to the full text of an article. Instead of PDF or Online Full Text links, there will be a Find Full Text link. Click on Find Full Text to see other options.

  • Sometimes "Find Full Text" finds the article in full text in another database, and will give you a link to the article.
  • If the article is not available in another database, you will be directed to a page when you can request the article through Library Express

Google Scholar

If you found an article online, or have a citation for an article you want, you can use Google Scholar to search for and request the article. Check out the How Can I Find/Request an Article When I Already Have the Citation? FAQ for more information.
