Tip: Already have a citation for an article or book that you need to request? EKU Libraries encourage you to locate articles through Google Scholar and books and other non-article media (e.g., videos) through WorldCat Discovery and then submit your request using the Find Full Text or Request It links!

 

To submit a manual request through Library Express start at the EKU Libraries homepage and select/click on the My Account link located in the navigation bar at the top of the homepage.

Log into to Library Express using your EKU credentials (full email address and password).

This will take you to your My Checkouts portal. To manually create a new request for an article, book, or book chapter, select/click on the Requests tab located at the top left of the portal.

Then select/click on the Create Request button located on the top right side of the portal.

Next, select/click on either the Book/Media or Article/Chapter tab at the top of the portal as appropriate, depending on the type of item you are requesting.

Follow the on-screen directions to complete all necessary fields, then scroll to the bottom of the page to select/click on the "Submit Request" button located at the bottom left side of the request form.

EKU Libraries Library Express will send an email to your EKU email address with directions on how to access or retrieve your item when the item is available.
